&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Last year the university bought nearly a dozen trailers, originally designed for use in the hurricane Katrina relief. Although the administration had ideas about them, the trailers are still sitting unused in the parking lot by the baseball and football fields.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp The Student Government Association held a closed session last Wednesday, Feb. 24, but what exactly does this mean?

Members of the media, administration, and anyone else who is not a member of SGA is asked to step outside if a motion is passed to go into closed session.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp It seems that almost everyone has complained at some point or another about the parking situation at Concord University's Athens campus, but what have students, faculty, and staff based these complaints on? While arguments about whether or not there is enough parking on campus have been an ongoing discussion over the past five years, almost no one has searched deep into the specifics of parking on campus. Whether a person believes that the parking situation for Concord students, faculty, and staff is under control or not, it is important to realize that there are a lot of different aspects to consider about it.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp For a reason I don't quite understand, a lot of action movie actors consider themselves really funny and decide to go into the comedy genre.

Most of the time the results are horrendous. Two that leap to mind are Schwarzenegger's "Junior" and Stallone's "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot." Now the legendary Bruce Willis has decided to step into the genre with his latest movie, "Cop Out."

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp The year 2010 has started off pretty good…for sports anyway. The U.S. dominated in the Olympics, this summer's basketball free-agent class is going to include stars like LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, Amar'e Stoudemire and Joe Johnson, which should make for a very interesting season this fall (depending on whether Cleveland wins a championship or not).

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp For those of you who were around last year, Gary Thompson's is a face you might be familiar with. With his zeal for all things green and his passionate activism, he earned himself the reputation as the "Eco-guy" around the Campus Beautiful. It seemed that every time an Earth-friendly event or new Green initiative was being presented, Gary's face or name was certainly present. Suddenly, he seemed to vanish.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp The ability of the modern critic seems to continually worsen through the years. Rather than expressing a reasoned opinion or a well-rounded evaluation, which reflects the meaning of the word, they are captious and push for arguments sake.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Oftentimes when former Student Government Association executives choose to write a letter to the Concordian, it is seen in bad taste, either as an attempt to ignite controversy or as a platform for a future campaign. I can assure you that this letter is neither, nor is it a bitterness that I feel for my former opponent. I merely want to shed an informed insight.
